Seasonal Fungus

A Guided-Inquiry Practical Investigation

In this activity, you will hear from the scientist: hear the question that he had, understand his scientific method and hear his results.

This will leave you with the big question: why is there more chytrid fungus-infected Baw Baw frogs in Spring and Autumn, than there are in Summer and Winter?

In the rest of your guided inquiry, you will seek to explain the results from Tom Burns' research.

Eventually, you will create a model of what happens in the field.

From this model, you will formulate a response to the big question.

At the end of your investigation, you will hear again from Tom.
