I am in my final year of study completing a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Teaching double degree at Deakin University.

I believe bringing the current work of scientists into the classroom creates a more authentic learning experience for students. They get the first hand opportunity to study exciting science that is happening right now!

I am a fourth year student at Deakin University currently undertaking the double degree Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Teaching. My major and minor sequences are chemistry and biology, respectively.

I believe that content learnt in the classroom should be related to experiences students will have outside of the classroom. The activities on this website relate concepts learnt in the classroom to real scientific investigations and their findings on the Baw Baw frog.

I am in my final year of study completing a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Teaching double degree at Deakin University. My major is Mathematics and my minor is Chemistry.

It has been really exciting working on this project. My first interaction with a real scientist and recent field work was at university; I yearned for this interaction as a high school student. It would have fuelled my interest and passion for Science. I hope this happens for your students with this resource!
